There are over 10,000 brands in the US alone, many of which offer military discounts.
The discounts below range from as little as a few bucks off a purchase, to as much as a 25% savings on your order.

Home Improvement Stores
Ace Hardware
While they don’t do a very good job of promoting it, Ace Hardware does in fact offer a military discount.
OMK actually reached out to them directly, and they informed us that most locations offer a 10% off discount.
Home Depot
While we’ve gotten a lot of feedback from visitors, apparently Home Depot offers a 10% off discount to active duty military.
Unfortunately, they don’t do a very good job of explaining the exact terms and conditions of the military discount anywhere on their website.
Lowe’s Home Improvement
Lowe’s offers a 10% off discount to all active duty members of the military, as well as their family members.
They allow you to redeem the discount both in stores, and on their website. Some of the restrictions include the discount not being available to anything other than an honorable discharge, and it can’t be stacked with other offers or coupons.
Lumber Liquidators
Lumber Liquidators gives back to military members by providing a 5% discount on all regularly-priced orders.
This is a smaller discount compared to what is often offered by retailers, but it can still make a big impact on the amount of money you pay for hardwood flooring.
Menards
Even though Menards doesn’t offer a military discount, there are plenty of other ways to save money. They include things like rebates, 11% off everything events, their BIG card, Ray’s list, and Price match policy.
Entertainment / Theme Parks
Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens has a few different military discounts, which vary by location and by military status.
The many deals make it possible for any military member, past or present, to receive free or low-priced admission tickets.
The main Busch Gardens military discount comes from the Waves of Freedom program.
This deal gives current military members free admission to the parks, at both the Williamsburg location and the Tampa location.
Carowinds
Carowinds offers a daily military discount, a deal on season tickets, and an annual military appreciation event.
The military discount ticket is available online for only $39.99.
They also offer a discount on season passes, allowing you to purchase a military gold pass for only $83.
Cedar Point
Nicknamed the “Roller Coaster Capital Of The World”, Cedar Point is actually one of the oldest amusement parks in the world.
They also offer a military discount and military appreciation days.
The daily discount entitles you to $30 off your admission ticket.
Military Appreciation Days are even better, offering free admission to both members of the military and veterans.
Dollywood
Dollywood offers 30% off of a daily admission ticket for their military discount. This deal is only available for tickets bought in person at the gate.
Disneyland
Disneyland offers a wide variety of military discounts on hotels, tickets, and more.
The company explains that if service members purchase their 3 or 4-Day Park Hopper tickets before December 2019 they will receive admission for three days at just $178.
The pass is $198 for four days of admission.
The Disney military discount is available only to eligible service members or their spouses (but not both parties).
Disney World
Disney World offers 2 main discounts for military:
- Disney Armed Forces Salute, and
- A Regular Military Discount
The Armed Forces Salute deal brings admission prices down to just over half of their typical cost.
The Disney Armed Forces Salute discount is available for 4 or 5 day ticket passes, and the price of a 4 day ticket is $241 plus tax.
The “regular” military discount is nowhere near as good as the Armed Forces Salute, but it will still entitle you to a savings of 4% – 8% of the total ticket price.
Great Wolf Lodge
The indoor water park / hotel offers a 30% discount on select rooms, during available dates.
You can also receive the discount if you are work as a Firefighter, EMS, Law Enforcement Officer, 911 dispatcher, or correctional officer.
To use the discount, you must use the code HEROES when making your reservation as well as be present when checking in.
Hershey Park
Hershey Park offers a Military Discount every day as well as a Military Appreciation weekend in May.
The every day Military Discount offers $20 off of an adult (ages 9-54) single-day admission or $4 off of a child/senior (ages 3-8 and 55+) single-day admission.
The discount can actually be used for up to 8 admissions!
Kings Dominion
The Kings Dominion amusement park offers four separate ways for past and present military members and their families to save on admission price.
They include the regular military discount ticket, special event tickets, the Military Gold Pass, and annual Military Appreciation Events.
Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm gives back to military members through two separate deals, their Military Tribute Days and the daily military discount.
Legoland
Legoland is a chain of amusement parks and resorts designed around the popular building brick toy.
They are internationally based, but their United States locations offer a military discount.
The exact discount available will vary by base.
For an example, the Camp Pendleton base’s Ticket and Travel Office provides a discount of close to 30% on Legoland tickets.
Medieval Times
Medieval Times gives back to the military by providing discounted tickets for those who serve, those who have served in the past, and their family members.
Discounted tickets are available online through a site called ID.me, or through your local base’s Ticket and Travel office.
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo offers a very general military discount, and there are a few different ways to get a deal on admission to this attraction.
The San Diego Zoo offers free admission for active military members.
This free admission can be used on any day of the year, including holidays and weekends.
SeaWorld
The official Seaworld military discount is called “Waves of Honor”, and honors active-duty military and veterans alike with free tickets to the theme park.
You can take advantage of the deal by signing up with ID.me, and redeeming your free tickets online.
Additionally, Seaworld offers reduced price tickets via your local Ticket and Travel office.
The discount is not nearly as good as their Waves of Honor program, but at least it’s something!
Six Flags Theme Parks
Six Flags offers some steep military discounts for our men and women in uniform at nearly all of their locations.
You can save anywhere from 20% – 40% if you’re currently serving in the military.
Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster does not have a simple percentage-off discount to give to military members, unfortunately.
However, they have come up with a few creative ways to give back to military members throughout the years.
Universal Studios
Universal Studios is proud to support the U.S. Military.
Discounted admission to the park is available both at your local MWR/ITT, or at the gate.
The amount of savings depends on where you purchase the tickets.

Hotel Military Discounts
Best Western
Military members, both past and present, can save on the cost of their hotel rooms at most Best Western locations.
The discount is not a set amount of money off of each hotel room.
It’s a percentage that varies depending on location and date of reservation.
Hilton Hotels
Hilton hotels offer a 10% discount for military families and individuals alike.
When you make your reservation online, you may have to use a special promo code – PGMFR1 or MFR – when making your reservation online.
Alternatively, you can simply show your military ID at check-in.
Holiday Inn
Owned by a company called IHG, Holiday Inn also offers a military discount.
With that said, it’s a bit complicated to describe in a 50 word blurb.
Marriott
Marriott offers a discount for government and Military personnel.
The discount varies widely depending on the date, the hotel location and the room availability.
OMK checked several room rates and found a savings between 10% and 40%.
If there are multiple hotels owned by Marriott in the area you are wanting to stay, it is best to check all of them to find the best discount.
Sandals Resorts
Sandals offers 10% off to all military members, both past and present.
This deal stands out from other military promotions, since the 10% can be added on top of other promotions offered by the company.
Restaurants
OMK got in touch with 138 of the largest restaurant chains in the US to find out if they have a military discount.
Applebee’s
Applebee’s gives back to military members through a variety of deals, both daily and throughout the year.
They offer both a daily 10% discount, as well as a free meal on Veterans day. All you need to do is show your military ID when you go to pay the bill, and your waiter or waitress will have a manage apply the discount.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings has stores that are owned by their corporation, and stores that are individually owned and run.
Because of this, they cannot have an across-the-board military discount.
However, many if not most of the Buffalo Wild Wings locations offer military discounts.
This deal typically gives military members, both past and present, 10% off their meal.
Chick-fil-A
Although there are a few different ways to save with Chick-fil-A, a Military Discount is not one that is advertised on their website or social media accounts.
However, each Chick-fil-A is independently owned and discounts are up to the owner of the location.
Several sources have noted that participating locations offer a 10% off military discount.
Select locations also offer a Military Appreciation Day every year.
Chipotle
While they don’t offer a daily military discount, Chipotle offers a buy-one-get-one free offer on Veterans day.
Often picking a weeknight leading up to this National Holiday, Chipotle extends their generous offer for military members and their spouses as a prelude in recognition of those that sacrifice the most in defense of this country.
Denny’s
Denny’s does not have a chain-wide military discount, but a majority of their locations provide a deal to those who serve.
Many Denny’s locations also offer a free meal on Veteran’s Day.
Fire Department Coffee
Fire Department Coffee is a veteran-owned and firefighter-run coffee company that donates 10% of net proceeds to help ill and injured firefighters and first responders.
They offer a 15% discount to active military, veterans, first responders and emergency dispatchers.

Golden Corral
Unfortunately, Golden Corral does not offer a discount off of their regular prices for everyday meals.
They do, however, have another way to give back to military members.
Every year, Golden Corral hosts a Military Appreciation Dinner.
During this dinner, military members eat for free.
IHOP
In observance of Veteran’s Day, November 11th, IHOP offers a “free” breakfast to all members of the military active or retired.
IHOP also offers continual discounts of up to 20% daily on all iHop breakfast and menu items, depending on location, in appreciation for their efforts and their protection of this country.
Olive Garden
While Olive Garden doesn’t offer a daily military discount, they do have a Veterans Day promotion.
It’s limited to participating locations, but it will entitle you to a free entree and 10% off the bill for your entire party.
Additionally, OMK found other ways you can save at Olive Garden.
Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse has partnered with Operation Homefront to provide a Heroes Discount.
The discount is for 10% off of your entire check, and can be redeemed by active and retired military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and EMT’s.
Papa John’s
It was a bit unclear as to whether or not Papa John’s actually offers a military discount. Some users reported that they do, but when we tried the coupon codes out ourselves, they didn’t work.
With that said, there are other ways to save at the pizza chain.
Pizza Hut
I often wondered if they had a discount for the military. But when OMK inquired about this, I was told that Pizza Hut does not have any sort of military discount.
With that said, there are other ways to save at the pizza chain.
Red Lobster
Red Lobster offers all active duty service members a 10% discount off their total bill every day of the week.
The discount program used to be called Military Monday, but a representative from Red lobster confirmed with me that it’s available everyday.
Red Robin
Red Robin unfortunately does not offer a military discount that gives a steady percentage off every day like many other restaurants across the country do.
They do, however, provide various coupons and deals to military members throughout the year through their Red Robin Loyalty Program.
Starbucks
While Starbucks doesn’t actually offer a military discount at this time, there are other ways you can save. Click the link above to learn more.
Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant that is focused around providing good food and an overall good time to their guests.
They give back to military members in a variety of ways, one of which is through a generous military discount.
Military members get 10% off their final bill every single time they eat at the restaurant.
The chain also gives back by providing free meals to military members and veterans on Veteran’s day each year.
On average, they give away over 240,000 free meals to veterans and active military members through this deal.
Computer & Electronics
Apple
Apple offers a 10% off discount to members of the military, as well as special government rates and an online store dedicated to US Government employees.
This store is exclusive to employees of the US Govt., and the savings they provide are unreal.
In addition, Veterans and Military pricing is afforded to not only current and veteran members of the US Military, National Guard, and Reserves, but also immediate family members.
Of course, there are a few restrictions as well.
Avast
While Avast doesn’t actually offer up a military discount, they do have affiliations with Deal and coupon sites that can help you save some money.
Best Buy
OMK spoke directly with our local Best Buy, and they informed me that they have not had an official military discount available for several years.
This is supported by a forum post I came across on the official Best Buy website, which stated the same.
With that said, there are other ways to save.
Dell
Dell offers a great military discount which can help you save anywhere from 10% – 30% depending on what you order.
For example, Dell PC’s, tablets, and electronics typically have a 10% discount.
On the other hand, select Dell products can offer as much as a 30% savings.
Dell also has an exclusive military store similar to Apples. You can confirm your eligibility with their partner Veterans Advantage, and once you’re in they will hook you up big time!
Gamestop
Unfortunately, Gamestop does not offer a daily military discount.
However, we decided to include it on this page because they support military families.
The Call of Duty Endowment is a non-profit foundation that helps veterans find high quality jobs through raising awareness of the value that veterans provide and supporting groups that help veterans find jobs.
Additionally, OMK found a few other ways for you to save a few bucks on your next Gamestop order.
Garmin
Though Garmin does not have a direct discount for military members, they are a Brand Partner with GovX.
This means that military members can still get exclusive deals on Garmin products.
GoPro
While they don’t offer a specific military discount on their official website, GoPro offers discounts on select items via GovX.
Those items include things like HERO7 Black and White cameras, Sports kits, travel kits, and adventure kits, and changes all the time.
They also allow first responders like firefighters, police officers, and EMT’s to redeem the discount as well.
HP
HP has a background of working with the United States Military, and they continue to give back to service members through a military discount.
HP offers members of the military access to their employee discount program.
While not specifically a military discount in the traditional sense of the word, you’ll save as much as 35%.
Lenovo
The Lenovo military discount entitles you to a savings of 7% off your order, both via ID.me and / or with an APO or FPO.
While this might not sound like a lot, you have to consider that many of their products are in the $100’s or $1,000’s in retail pricing.
The savings can really add up!
Microsoft Office
Microsoft offers a military discount for their flagship Office 365 Home Military Edition product.
The discount will save you $30, and you can claim it both online, and in a nearby Microsoft store.
You can also find the military discount available on ShopMyExchange.com, an online version of a military PX.
NewEgg
NewEgg offers 1 year of free premier for active duty members of the military.
Though it only lasts for a year, a NewEgg Premier membership offers many more perks that outweigh the perk of having a few dollars knocked off your final price.
They include things like expedited shipping, exclusive deals and sales not available to anyone else, no restocking fees, and much more.
Samsung
Samsung offers up to a 30% savings with their military discount. You have to register with their site to redeem it, but it’s pretty straightforward.
All you need is an official military email address that ends in .mil (for example: army.mil, usmc.mil, etc.,) and you’ll get access to their exclusive offer.
There are some restrictions with the military discount, including purchase maximums and certain category restrictions.
Staples
Staples doesn’t offer a military discount at this time, but you can save with their rewards program, special deals, and their price match program.
Airlines Military Discounts
14 Airlines That Offer Military Discounts – Almost every major airline in the US offers a military discount, as well as free checked bags.
Alaska Airlines
Alaska Airlines is proud to support the U.S. Military. You can save on airfare by booking directly through them, get 5 free bags at check-in, and save even more booking through Veterans Advantage.
Allegiant Airlines
Since Allegiant Air aims to make affordable flights available to all of their flyers, they do not offer discounted tickets to those who serve.
They do, however, offer a variety of free services that military members, veterans, and their family members can take advantage of.
American Airlines
American Airlines offers a 5% military discount on airfare, as well as deals on checked bags and other perks.
American reports that the military discount depends on the flight. However, most discounted airfare for military active duty and veterans is usually 5% or less off the ticket.
Delta Airlines
Delta Airlines goes above and beyond with their military discount, offering reduced airfare rates AND free baggage checks.
The Delta military discount does not define an exact percentage of savings on a flight.
It varies based on a number of factors. The Delta military discount is comparable to what other major airlines do for military personnel and veterans.
Frontier Airlines
Frontier currently has a special deal for active duty military personnel.
The airline provides a baggage waiver that includes:
- One free personal item.
- One free carry-on bag.
- Two free checked bags.
However, they don’t offer discounts on airfare from what we can tell.
Jetblue
JetBlue has an outstanding relationship when it comes to the U.S. Military.
They provide a 5% discount off the base fare on ALL flights, with absolutely no blackout dates.
Additionally, like the other airlines, they also offer a baggage waiver.
Southwest Airlines
Like most other US airlines, Southwest Airlines offers a military discount.
Southwest Airlines is comparable to many other major airlines in the United States.
There is a military discount, however, unlike other industries that offer one the amount of savings is not fixed.
So instead of Southwest telling you that they will give you 5% off your next flight you need to contact them directly and inquire about a military discount.
Spirit Airlines
Spirit Airlines does not give a discount to those who serve on fares, because they aim to provide low prices to all of their customers.
They do, however, give back to military members with a few other generous deals.
United Airlines
United Airlines offers multiple ways to save, including discounts on airfare, free bag checks, pet exceptions, and much more.
Additionally, United grants active duty service members access to their more than 45 participating United club lounges.
Travel Military Discounts
Amtrak
Amtrak offers a 10% off military discount for active duty military personnel, their spouses, and dependents.
Additionally, they also offer the ability for military personnel to jump to the head of the ticket line.
You of course must have an active-duty United States Armed Forces identification card, or military ID equivalent.
Carnival Cruises
Carnival Cruise offers reduced rates on many cruises for military members.
This is not a set amount off per trip, and it is not an across-the-board offer.
CheapOair
CheapOair offers active duty military and veterans discounts on flights and travel.
There’s not a specific percentage discount, but you can easily save $50 – $200 on flights booked through their military travel page.
In addition, CheapOair has promo codes and coupons for customers to use.
Disney Cruises
The Disney Cruise military discount offers special pricing and rates to active duty and retired military, as well as their families.
The discounts vary based on the specific type of cruise, and include deals like:
- 4-Night Bahamian Cruise From Port Canaveral
- 3-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise From Port Canaveral
- 14- Night Very Merrytime Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise From San Diego ending in Galveston
These deals change all the time, so what you see above might not be available in a few months, or even a few weeks!
You can expect to save well over $200 if you’re an active duty military service member, or retired.

Expedia
Expedia offers several benefits to members of the military, both active duty and retired.
Not only do U.S. Military members receive a discount on their gold benefits program, but active duty members and military veterans receive 10% off the gold status program.
Greyhound
Greyhound offers a military discount to give back to those who serve.
They offer two variations of this deal, both a military discount, as well as a discount through Veterans Advantage.
Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean offers a variety of deals to their customers, including a military discount to give back to those who serve.
Past and present service members can get up to 50% off of their cruise pricing on select cruises.
Fitness / Gyms Military Discounts
7 Gyms That Offer Military Discounts
24 Hour Fitness
24 Hour Fitness offers a military discount, which includes a $0 initiation fee, and $5 off monthly memberships.
Normally, the initiation fee averages around $30 per member.
Your first year alone, you’re looking at an overall savings of approximately $89.99, not a bad deal at all!
YMCA
YMCA’s do a lot for military families, but they don’t actually offer a military discount in the strict sense of the word.
With that said, they DO offer things like military outreach memberships, child care, and more.
Cell Phone / Cable Military Discounts
AT&T
AT&T’s Active Military Plan provides current military members with 25% off of the Unlimited &More and the Unlimited &More Premium Wireless Plans.
The Active Military plan is available to any current military member. This includes members of all five military branches, as well as members serving in Active Duty, Reserves, and National Guard roles.
Boost Mobile
Unfortunately, Boost Mobile does not offer a military discount. With that said, they do offer other perks for deployed military personnel.
DirecTV
At this time, DirecTV doesn’t offer a military discount. However, they have in the past!
We’ll continually update this page whenever they decide to offer a military discount, but in the meantime.
Motorola
Motorola offers a 10% discount, both online and in stores, for military members and their families.
Like Modells above, they allow you to verify your military service / status online, albeit with a different verification service called ID.me.
The discount is also available to first responders as well, and as far as we can tell there aren’t any restrictions.
Sprint
Sprint offers a military discount that allows as much as 50% off select phone lines.
The discount is available to active duty, retired, veterans, U.S. National Guard and Reserves through the Sprint Works program.
SiriusXM
SiriusXm gives back to military members by providing them with 25% off of the subscription’s monthly price.
The deal can be used on any of the monthly plans, and it is extremely simple to take advantage of.
T Mobile
The T-Mobile Military plan can help you save a TON of money on your monthly cellphone bill.
In addition to offering a 20% discount on its premium wireless plan, other T-Mobile military discounts exist in select stores. These can include special deals on phones or accessories.
Verizon
Verizon Wireless military discount currently extends to both cellphone plans as well as Fios.
The Verizon military plans include three different discounts as well as a Verizon military discount on internet, cable, and home phone lines (if applicable).
Additionally, families of U.S. Armed Forces members have the opportunity to benefit from Verizon military discount savings as well.
Car / Truck Rental
OMK did the research, and learned of some great car rental military discounts that are available to both active duty, as well as retired.
1-800-Pack-Rat
1-800-PACK-RAT provides the simplest way with local moving, long-distance moving, and temporary or long-term storage. They proudly offer resources for military members to make sure that they are getting reimbursed for their moving fees so that they can save more money for their families.
The discount can be used online with the discount code “MILITARY10” or by calling 1-800-722-5728. You can find out about all of their military member offerings here.
Alamo Rent a Car
Alamo Rent a Car is proud to support the U.S. Military with a couple of different options. The military discount depends on if you are traveling on official orders or for leisure.
There are 2 ways to redeem it: discount on official government travel, and a discount on military travel for leisure.
Avis Rental Cars
Military personnel can save on their next Avis car rental through Veterans Advantage.
The offer is available to active duty military, National Guard, Reservists, veterans, and eligible family members.
Avis says that you can save up to 25% off your next rental when you book through Veterans Advantage.
Budget
Budget car rentals offers up to a 25% discount. However, unlike many of the other discounts on this page, you have to redeem the discount through a program called Veterans Advantage.
The benefits of signing up for Veterans Advantage is that you can claim a TON of other military discounts.
Enterprise Rent A Car
Like most (if not all) of the other major car rental companies in the US, Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers a military discount as well.
You can expect to get a 5% discount on your car rental if you’re active-duty military, a military retiree, or a veteran.
With that said, because Enterprise is a franchise, it’s up to the specific location as to whether or not the discount is available.
You can also save more by signing up for Veterans Advantage, as well as redeem special perks and discounts.
Hertz
If you’re a government / federal employee, you might want to check out Hertz’s military discount. They offer some of the best govt. rates you will find for car rentals in the US.
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly how much you will save with Hertz by receiving the military discount yet you will earn some form of savings.
Penske Truck Rentals
Penske offers a Military Discount of 10% off of truck rentals.
To use the discount enter the code MILITARY when booking your rental.
You must bring a Military ID or proof of Veteran status when you pickup your rental to retrieve the discount.
Uhaul
Uhaul offers a 10% – 15% military discount, but it’s not so cut and dry.
Officially, they don’t advertise a military discount anywhere in their company literature, or on their official site.
With that said, some existing customers claim that when you give them a call they may apply a discount to your final bill once you notify them that you are active duty or retired military.
Apparently, online and phone sales agents for Uhaul have the flexibility to add a 10% – 15% off discount.
Clothing Military Discounts
Adidas
Unfortunately, Adidas does not offer a military discount.
However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to save some $.
American Eagle
American Eagle does not list a military discount on their website, so we reached out to their customer support team to confirm the exact details of the deal.
The store gives back to military members through a 10% off, in-store discount.
Finish Line
According to several sources, Finish Line offers a 10% off military discount to active duty military and their families. However, it’s only available at certain locations.
Foot Locker
Foot Locker is one of the many brands that offer a military discount. You’ll save 15% on your order by simply providing a valid military ID.
You can redeem the discount both in stores and on their website. The discount is also available at their sister stores, including Lady and Kids Foot Locker, Footaction USA, Champs Sports, and Six:02.
Like many of the other discounts on this page, there are some restrictions.
Lululemon
Lululemon offers, wait for it, a 25% military discount to our men and women in uniform.
This is one of the largest, if not the largest, military discounts out of any of the merchants on this page.
While spouses can claim the discount, children and/or dependents cannot.
Michael’s
Michael’s offers 15% off your entire purchase for military members, every day.
Nike
The world’s largest supplier of athletic sneakers and apparel has a long tradition of being a proud supporter of the United States Military.
Nike gives back generously to the U.S. Armed Forces and also offers a military discount.
Nike offers a 10% discount to eligible military personnel, spouses, and dependents. The savings apply to active duty military, veterans, retired personnel, and reservists.
Old Navy / GAP
There’s a lot of misinformation online about the Old Navy / Gap military discount, so OMK reached out to their PR department directly to get a straight answer.
According to them, both Old Navy and The GAP offer a 10% off discount to active, retired, and reserve US military personnel and family members.
Of course, a valid military ID is required to redeem the discount.
Unfortunately, the discount is only available in physical brick and mortar locations.
Target
Target offers one-time 10% off military discount on Veterans Day. Find out what the details are, how to redeem it, what the restrictions are.
Under Armour

Additionally, they also offer an entire gear line dedicated to military and first responders as well.
You can also redeem the military discount both in stores, and on their official website.
Lastly, the discount is available not only to active duty, retirees, and veterans, but also to spouses and dependents.
Walmart
Walmart unfortunately does not offer a military discount. But that doesn’t mean you can’t save some extra $ the next time you shop there.

Ashley Furniture
While Ashley Furniture doesn’t offer a specific military discount, they DO have several other ways to save.
They include things like their “spin the wheel” discount offer, which will give you a one-time 10$ off coupon.
Additionally, they offer online deals, hot buys, and Veterans Day / Memorial Day sales.
Bealls
The clothing and accessory shop is another in a long line of retail stores that offer military discounts.
At Bealls, you can expect to save 15% on your in-store purchase. It’s a bit unclear as to whether or not the discount can be applied online, however.
Like the others listed on this page, they also have a wide variety of coupons and promo codes available.
Ikea
When searching for a Military Discount, unfortunately Ikea came up short.
Even though Ikea does not currently offer a Military Discount, they still offer different discounts and promotions.
Kirklands
Note: We’re talking about the home décor store, NOT the Costco Kirklands. Click Here to read about the Costco military discount.
Kirklands home décor offers a 10% off military discount to qualified active duty military, as well as retired veterans.
This discount can be used in conjunction with other discounts, which is a nice bonus; so those claiming the discount won’t have to worry about choosing between one discount or the other.
Kohl’s
Recently Kohl’s introduced a Military Discount of 15% that can be used on Mondays, in-store only.
Kohl’s offers the discount to active military, veterans, retirees and immediate family members.
Macy’s
Macy’s offers a 10% off military discount, with a few restrictions.
Unfortunately, the discount is apparently only offered on the first Tuesday of every month.
With that said, unlike many other discounts, you actually CAN combine the military discount with other discounts.
Overstock
In addition to their already superb deals, Overstock offers military members and their families a great military discount.
However, it’s not an actual discount in the traditional sense of the word.
You won’t exactly save a certain % on a purchase, unlike many of the other discounts on this page.
Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club offers a deal to military members who purchase a membership to shop their stores.
When a member of the military purchases a membership, they are given a $10 gift card for free.
This may not seem like much of a deal, but when you take into consideration how much savings are already given to Sam’s Club shoppers, this is a deal that won’t show up in many other places.
Sears
Sears is proud to provide service members with an exclusive military discount through Veterans Advantage.
The membership grants you access to military discounts on a number of items sold through Sears.
Sears has been a partner with Veterans Advantage since 2009, and the specific military discount details are as follows:
- $5 Off Purchases of $50 or more
- $35 Off Purchases of $300 or more
Car Insurance Companies Military Discounts
OMK got in touch with representatives from 19 of the largest car insurance companies in the US regarding their military discount policy.
Unsurprisingly, some of them offered one, and some do not.
Geico
GEICO can get you up to 15% off your total insurance premium. The insurer also presents special rates for military related organizations.
Online Only
23andMe
23andMe provides free shipping to all military members, past and present, who order their kits.
They also offer 10% off each additional kit (after the first one) that military members buy.
Amazon Military Discount
While there is no specific Amazon military discount the savings through certain subscriptions like Amazon Prime can help U.S. Armed Forces members in a variety of different ways.
One of the most popular features for members is Amazon Prime Military shipping. The two-day shipping guarantee gets products you need to friends and family immediately while you are stationed overseas.
Avast
While Avast doesn’t actually offer up a military discount, they do have affiliations with Deal and coupon sites that can help you save some money.
Bodybuilding.com
In the market for a supplement or protein powder? Members of the military get 10% off orders on Bodybuilding.com.
They use Troop ID to confirm the military status of a person, and those that confirm their status are eligible for the 10% discount.
They also offer seasonal sales, brand sales, as well as periodic deals.
Dollar Shave Club
Dollar Shave Club, unfortunately, doesn’t offer a military discount.
But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of other ways that military men and women – and even those without a military background – can save some money while shopping.
Florida Rentals is an online portal for those looking for great deals on rentals in Florida. They offer a 15% off discount for active duty as well as veterans of the US Military.
Hulu
Hulu has a discount exclusive to U.S. Armed Forces members through ShopMyExchange.com.
The offer not only includes the standard one month free of Hulu, but also an additional 10% off each month.
Additionally, there are other ways to save on a Hulu membership.

Spectrum
OMK was unable to find information regarding a Military Discount on their website and decided to chat with an online representative.
The representative stated that unfortunately at this time, Spectrum does not offer a military discount but OMK was able to find some other ways to save.
TurboTax
TurboTax provides free or discounted rates to all members of the military.
The rates vary by package and by the user’s rank.
Xfinity
Xfinity offers both a reward for veterans and active-duty military. Current members get a $100 prepaid card and a $25 Xfinity coupon.
They also offer discounts for Students, as well as discount codes the average joe can use to save some $.
Auto Military Discounts
4 Wheel Parts
According to their website, 4 Wheel Parts offers a military discount. With that said, we’re unsure as to how much the discount is.
OMK tried reaching out to them directly, but has yet to receive a response.
Advance Auto Parts
Advance Auto Parts has made sure to show appreciation by providing all military, retired and active-duty, with a discount.
The military discount takes 10% off of any items that are full priced in the store.
You can also save money by signing up for their newsletter, as well as enrolling in their Speed Perks program.
AutoZone
Autozone offers an unofficial military discount to active duty and retired military. The discount ranges from 5% – 10%, which is at the discretion of the cashier.
They also offer coupon codes and periodic sales that can allow you to save as much as 20% on your order.
CarParts.com
According to their website, Carparts.com is “an online blog dedicated to bringing DIYers and devoted car enthusiasts up to date with topical automotive news and lifestyle content”.
They also sell discount auto parts and car accessories across a large selection of vehicles, and offer a military discount as well!
The discount is 5% on all items, and can be redeemed by active duty military, reserves, retirees, and veterans.
To claim the discount, all you have to do is email them from a military email address, or send a copy of your DD214 along with your contact info.`
Chevrolet
Available to active duty military, reservists, veterans, National Guard, and retirees, Chevy offers a guaranteed military discount off of the MSRP.
Discount Tire
With 900 stores in 34 states, it’s likely there is a location near you.
The official military discount at Discount Tire will entitle you to a 10% savings on any purchase installed.
Like many of the other merchants on this page, the discount is not available at all of their locations.
Additionally, there are a few restrictions you should be aware of.
Dodge
There are two military discount programs that past and current service members can take advantage of when purchasing or leasing a new Dodge vehicle.
They include the Military Incentive Program (the Dodge Military Discount), and the Military Auto Source Program.
Ford
One of the largest automobile manufacturers in the US, Ford also offers military discounts for both the Ford and Lincoln automobile brands.
The Ford military appreciation program entitles you to upwards of $500 in savings by filling out a short questionnaire.
Uniformed members of the military, as well as veterans within 24 months of separating from the US Military are eligible.
GM (Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick)
General Motors offers a military discount on all of their brands, including Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick.
The discount varies by make and model of automobile, but you will find that their prices are way below the MSRP.
It’s quite possible that you can easily save $100’s, if not $1,000’s on your vehicle of choice.
Honda
The Honda Military Appreciation Offer hooks you up with $500 towards a 2018 or newer Honda vehicle.
Furthermore, the offer can get combined with other special promotions (minus Zero Due at Lease program) currently running through Honda.
Jeep
There are two military discount programs that you can take advantage of when you buy or lease a new Jeep.
They are the Jeep Military Incentive Program, and Military AutoSource.
Jiffy Lube
Jiffy Lube states that they did not want to wait around for Veteran’s Day each year to say “thank you,” so they offer a daily military discount instead.
The discount provides military members with 25% off their final purchase price every day of the year.
Nissan
To give back to those who serve, Nissan offers $500 off the purchase of your new vehicle.
To use this deal, simply go to your local Nissan dealer and tell them you are a military member.
Pep Boys
Pep Boys was started by military men, and the chain continue to give back to those why serve by providing a military discount.
This deal gives you 10% off your total when you make a purchase in store.
RevZilla
RevZilla offers 5% off to active duty service members. This deal can be used in-person or online.
Safelite
Safelite gives back to those who serve with a generous military discount.
They give 20% off total service costs to military members, both past and present.
Subaru
Subaru is proud to announce a special discount for active duty military and reservists.
The promo offer is available to all branches of the U.S. Military including Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Navy.
The discount will allow you to save up to $500 on your next automobile purchase.
Tire Rack
Like some of the other retailers on this page, Tire Rack unfortunately doesn’t offer a military discount.
However, there are some other ways you can save big bucks!
Toyota
Toyota advertises that “for everything you give, we want to give back”.
So despite Toyota being a Japanese manufacturer they are happy to support its high consumer base here in the United States.
The Toyota Military Rebate Program will grant active-duty personnel as well as retirees, veterans, and eligible dependents with a special $500 rebate.*
Weathertech
Unfortunately, Weathertech doesn’t offer a military discount. With that said, there are other ways to save.
Sporting Goods Stores Military Discounts
Academy Sports and Outdoors
Academy Sports doesn’t actually offer a military discount.
With that said, we were able to find a few other ways you can save with them.
One of the quickest and easiest ways to save a quick busk is by signing up for their email list.
You’ll be instantly enrolled in their email newsletter, which will periodically send you deals and coupons on various items.
Benchmade
Benchmade’s website does not show a military discount, so we reached out to their customer service team to get the correct details.
Military members are able to take advantage of Benchmade’s Pro Deals program. The Pro Deals program gives you 30% off your total order.
Bass Pro Shop
Bass Pro Shop offer a 5% discount for Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Marine Corps.
National Guard and Reserves members also receive the discount.
Unlike a lot of other companies that offer a Military Discount, Bass Pro Shop actually allows you to stack your 5% on top of any other promotion or sale.
Cabelas
If you’re active duty or retired military, Cabela’s has a 5% discount for you.
You can claim the military discount both online, and in stores.
Like many of the other merchants on this page, military status is confirmed through SheerID.
All you need is your military ID.
Dicks Sporting Goods
According to our source, Dicks Sporting Goods offers a 10% off military discount.
Unfortunately, it comes with a few caveats. For one, you can only redeem it in stores.
Additionally, it’s up to the individual store manager at each location to apply the discount.
If you 100% want the discount, you’d likely be better off contacting the store directly before visiting.
Eastbay
Eastbay currently offers a 15% Military Discount on most orders.
The discount is available to active duty members of the military, as well as veterans, reservists, national guard, and registered dependents.
Trijicon
Trijicon’s military discount is a little different than what you typically find offered to service members, as it is not available on purchases made directly through the brand’s site.
Modells
Modell’s sporting goods offers a 10% discount to both active duty military and first responders like Firefighters, Police Officers, and EMS / EMT’s.
The Modell’s Hero Discount allows you to verify your military status using SheerID, an online verification system used by 1,000’s of other retailers.
Additionally, you can claim the discount both in-stores and on their website.
REI
When purchasing for a large group for military personnel through the corporate services department they will offer exempt sales tax as well as a discount of 10%-20% (depending on total purchase amount) on full-priced items.
Even though REI does not offer a Military Discount to individuals in their store, OMK was able to find other ways to save on their products.
Sportsman’s Warehouse
Sportsman’s Warehouse offers an “Everyday Military Discount” of 5% off of your purchase of eligible items.
To use this deal, simply show your military ID card at the checkout when you are making your purchase.
Yeti
YETI has partnered with ID.me to give Military Discounts.
The discount varies between eligible products, but is 20% on the majority of items.
Food & Beverage Military Discounts
Costco
While Costco doesn’t offer a strict military discount, active duty and retired military receive $60 off new memberships with a valid military ID.
This is only available for new memberships, so if you’re currently a Costco member, unfortunately you won’t be able to redeem the discount.
Eyewear / Eye-gear Military Discounts
1800 Contacts
Unfortunately, 1800 Contacts does not offer a military discount. With that said, there’s no reason you need to pay full price!
Leupold
Leupold has a special discount program made for military members. They have one program for Active Duty members and one program for veterans.
The Active duty members benefit from access to their VIP program, which entitles you to discounts on up to 5 optics devices and 10 accessories per year.
Veterans are also eligible for the VIP program when they make personal purchases.
Oakley
Oakley has a long history of being affiliated with the military, and their sunglasses line is practically a must have for service members in the field.
Oakley offers up to 50% off with their military discount, which is some of the steepest discounts we’ve ever seen here at OMK.
They even have a website dedicated to our men and women in uniform, which is easily accessed once you verify your military status.
OpticsPlanet
OpticsPlanet gives a generous discount to those who serve.
They offer a specific percentage-off military deal, between 5% and 20% off, for many select brands that they sell.
Ray Ban
Ray Ban offers 15% off your entire purchase to those who are currently serving or who have served our country in the past.
This deal is only available online from Ray Ban’s official website.
It cannot be used in person or through third party sellers.
Movie Theater Military Discounts
AMC Theaters
AMC offers a 10% off military discount at select locations. They also offer a free large popcorn to all service members on 4th of July weekend.
However, when OMK spoke with 2 different representatives from AMC, we got 2 different answers regarding their discount.
Our advice is to contact the individual theater directly by phone, or speak to the agent at the ticket counter.
Cinemark
Cinemark does not offer a chain-wide military discount, but many of their locations throughout the United States offer military deals.
Since there is not a set deal, the military discount varies.
Fandango
While Fandango doesn’t offer a strict military discount, you can get military-priced tickets that can save you as much as 35%.
These tickets are good at some of the largest movie theater locations in the US, including AMC Theatres, Angelika Film Centers, Cinemark Theatres, Marcus Theatres, and Regal Cinemas.
Just be sure to bring your military ID!
Regal Cinemas
Regal Cinemas offers special pricing for military members. This price is not advertised and may vary depending on location.
Other
Guitar Center
Despite several sources claiming otherwise, it turns out that Guitar Center does indeed offer a 10% off military discount.
The discount is redeemable by both active duty and retired military, and applies to a single item in your purchase.
