You need a high school diploma, meet current height and weight standards, be a US citizen, be between the ages of 17 – 29, take and pass the ASVAB test, and pass an exam at MEPS.
MOS 0933 candidates also need to have vision correctable to 20/20.
Thirdly, Marines on active duty need to have a minimum of one year of time in service (TIS) to qualify for MOS 0933.
You also need at least one year remaining on a military contract by the time you graduate from the Combat Marksmanship Program (CMP).
