About Best Western

In 1946, Best Western was founded by a man named M.K. Guertin.

It operated as a chain of hotels that would refer one another to customers as they traveled through their areas.

By 1963, Best Western had grown to be the biggest hotel chain in the United States, with almost 700 locations and over 35,000 rooms.

Today, Best Western is one of the most well-known hotel chains worldwide.

What Is The Official Best Western Military Discount?

Military members, both past and present, can save on the cost of their hotel rooms at most Best Western locations.

The discount is not a set amount of money off of each hotel room.

It’s a percentage that varies depending on location and date of reservation.

To see if your trip can benefit from the military deal, you’ll need to go through the process of searching for a hotel room with the military rate applied.

You may see rooms with no discount, but you can look through the list to choose a room that does have the deal applied.

How To Use:

Step 1: Click Here to reach Best Western’s home page, where you can search for rooms

Step 2: When filling in your trip information, click on the “rates” box, and choose “Government/Military.” Click “apply” to begin your search

Step 3: Choose a hotel room from the list that shows the military discount

Step 4: Bring your military ID or other proof of service to the check in counter when you begin your stay to prove your discount eligibility

The Best Western Service Rewards Program

The Best Western Service Rewards Program is the hotel chain’s way of giving back to the military through their loyalty program.

All customers are eligible for the loyalty program, but military members get a special deal.

Normally, customers need to reach a certain number of stays to access the savings program. Military members are included at the “Gold” level, or the introductory level, right away.

Service Rewards Program members earn points with each stay, which can be redeemed for free stays in the future.

If you are a frequent flyer, you can also choose to have your points converted into airline miles.

You won’t receive points toward free rooms in this case, but you’ll benefit by saving money on your flights instead.

This process can be taken advantage of with any major airline.

Members earn 10 points for every dollar they spend at the hotel chain. They also receive 10% bonus points every time they stay.

The Service Rewards Program does not stop at benefiting military customers, either.

They also donate 10% of the members points to military charities to continue giving back.

As military members continue staying at Best Western hotels, they can move up from Gold level, to Platinum, Diamond, and Diamond Select to earn higher percentages of rewards during each of their stays.

How To Use

Step 1: Click Here to create a Service Rewards Program account

Step 2: Fill out your account information and specify if you’d like to earn Best Western Rewards points or Airline miles

Step 3: Your membership details will be sent to you via mail or email, whichever method you selected as your preference

Step 4: Bring your military ID or other proof of military service when you check in to prove your eligibility for the program
