| My dad was in the army for 25 years and he retired just last year; he got a job on a small island but we told him to just get out so we wouldn't be separated. If the war wasn't happening i would have told him to stay in; we have been living in Minnesota for the last almost five years and i have enjoyed it. But the army is still a big part of my life there is a part of me that wants to go somewhere new since i have moved many times in my young life.I miss living on base and being around other people in the army; i believe that if you are ever in the army for a long period of time than the army will always remain with you. I was born an army brat and i will remain an army brat for the rest of time and i will always cherish the memories of living on base and i just want other military kids to be grateful for the good parts of the army life even if there have been hard points to it.As army brats we must always be there for each other. And bless all the soldiers who have made this life possible and the family members for being strong. |
